European UnionWe have been developing innovative software for more than twenty five years, with a focus on encouraging the application of the latest knowledge and expertise. This is further underlined by the award of three regional grants, exclusively intended for companies engaged in innovation projects. This concerns contributions from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the knowledge voucher “Ik ben Drents ondernemer.nl 3.0” (“I am a Drenthe-based entrepreneur 3.0”).
Receives subsidies for the following activity/activities: The aim of the project is to create a new software platform for Rovecom’s green, soil and infrastructure branches. This software platform will be scalable, so that new opportunities in the market can be easily accommodated in the platform and do not have to be realised as separate applications. This also applies to precision agriculture. Clients are supported in their daily operations from a single online application.A functional analysis must be performed to determine how the basic structure of the new application should be set up. This includes the planning and administrative management of contract work activities, as well as the planning, administrative handling and facilitation of the handling of the legal obligations of manure transport services. A modern technological ecosystem should then be designed for this purpose, with which these functional requirements can be realised. Microservice architecture is designed with such solid foundations that it can support the broad functionalities required. The third issue is the realisation of a user interface that supports the user in a clear and simple manner and accommodates a wide range of functionalities. Based on this input, the new application will then be realised.
To optimise rations, feed specialists worldwide use the ration calculation software developed by Rovecom. The primary objective of the software is to balance rations in order to achieve maximum efficiency: healthy production by healthy animals while minimising the environmental impact. Over the past 25 years, Rovecom has proven its ability to translate complex models into practical software that is used on a daily basis. Rovecom contributes to improving farm performance and productivity and minimising the environmental impact. The requirements for production in the agricultural sector are constantly changing and are increasingly all encompassing (see, for example, the nitrogen debate). Rovecom has also established an investment programme, aimed at providing feed consultants with optimal calculation tools in the near future as well.
